Technique introducing new queen bee |

The conditions to introduce queens, make sure that the hive has in fact been orphaned. to use the transit cage to introduce a queen, remove the escort bees and the cork stopper on the candy side, fix the cage between two frames after piercing a small hole through the candy reserves. The bees will help to free the queen by nibbling the candy. Don't touch the hive for 7 to 10 days, the queen needs to concentrate to be accepted. |
